How do you get into Honors at UF?
Eligibility Criteria:
- 3.75 cumulative UF GPA earned over the first year at UF.
- A total of 34 credits (Summer B admits) or 29 credits (Fall admits) earned over the first year at UF. Incoming credits from AP/IB/AICE or dual enrollment do not count towards these totals.

What percentage of students get selected for the Honors Program? We admit approximately 1500 students to yield an incoming class of about 700 students. In 2021, we exceeded 9,000 applications to join the program in Summer/Fall 2022.

Dean’s list criteria:
- Semester GPA of 3.75 or higher.

Does UF have a dean’s list?
Students are eligible to earn the Dean’s List designation only once for the entire summer semester. In all colleges except Public Health and Health Professions, the credits in the Summer Requirements column can be earned in any combination of Summer A, B, or C courses.
