The La Crosse View™ app will walk you through creating an account and automatically sets your time & local forecast. To enter the setup menu, hold the SET button. Press and release the – or + buttons to make adjustments. Push the SET button to confirm.
How do you program a LaCrosse thermometer?
POWER UP
- Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor.
- Insert 2-AAA batteries into your Wireless Thermometer.
- Adjust time and date settings on the thermometer.

How do you reset an outside thermometer?
Fill a container with crushed ice and add water to fill it. Give it a stir and let it sit for a few minutes. Add the thermometer sensor into the container for at least 30 seconds. It should read 32 degrees F and if so you are good to go.
Can I manually set an atomic clock?
Atomic Clocks may also be set manually and be very accurate. Simply insert the battery, press your time zone and then press the flap just above the left side of the battery. Hold until you reach the correct time and then release. Your clock is now an accurate quartz clock until it will find the signal.
Why is my temperature gauge not working?
The most common reason your temperature gauge staying on cold is a faulty coolant temperature sensor. It can also be caused by bad wirings between the cluster or the sensor. In some cases, it can also be a stuck thermostat causing the engine not to heat up properly.
Why is my outdoor thermometer not accurate?
If a thermometer isn’t protected from the elements, the reading will be inaccurate during weather events. Since weather-related events such as wind, snow, hail, and rain can occur frequently, an unprotected thermometer will be unreliable.
