How many miles are each Delta tier?
You can earn Delta elite status from the number of miles or segments flown, plus a minimum spending requirement on flights (or a waiver with an Amex Delta credit card). You’ll achieve a new tier every 25,000 miles you fly — then have to overcome a 50,000-mile gap between Delta’s Platinum and Diamond thresholds.
How many miles do you need with Delta for status?
Delta elite status, or Medallion Status, is earned based on a member’s number of Medallion Qualifying Dollars (MQDs), Medallion Qualifying Segments (MQSs), and Medallion Qualifying Miles (MQMs). To earn the base level status (Silver Medallion) you’ll need to earn $3,000 MQD and either 25,000 MQM or 30 MQS.
How do I get Delta Silver status?
Silver Medallion status is earned by flying 25,000 Medallion Qualifying Miles, or 30 Medallion Qualifying Segments, and either $3,000 Medallion Qualifying Dollars (MQD) or spending $25,000 on an eligible co-branded credit card to receive an MQD waiver.
Can you buy Delta miles to reach status?
We have decided to not offer Elevate Your Status for 2021, the targeted promotion offered in prior years that allows qualifying SkyMiles® Members to purchase Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs), Medallion Qualification Segments (MQSs) and Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) toward Medallion® Status.
What is higher than Delta Diamond?
Delta 360° is the invitation-only tier above Delta Diamond Medallion that includes many of the same perks as Diamond, plus some enhancements to make for a better travel experience.
What is Delta Elite Plus?
SkyTeam Elite Plus Member: Includes all Diamond, Platinum and Gold Medallion Members and a guest. Itinerary must include same-day international Travel on a SkyTeam flight.
How do I get from gold to silver Delta status?
Here are the details:
- Silver Medallion: 25,000 MQMs or 30 MQSs plus 3,000 MQDs.
- Gold Medallion: 50,000 MQMs or 60 MQSs plus 6,000 MQDs.
- Platinum Medallion: 75,000 MQMs or 100 MQSs plus 9,000 MQDs.
- Diamond Medallion: 125,000 MQMs or 140 MQSs plus 15,000 MQDs.
How often do Delta silver get upgraded?
Silver Medallions are eligible for upgrades beginning 24 hours from the flight, so they’re the last to be upgraded after Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Medallions.
Does Delta Silver Get Sky priority?
At airports which do not have a dedicated Silver Medallion check-in lane, Silver Medallion Members are permitted to use the Sky Priority check-in lane. Priority Boarding: With our boarding order, Medallion Members are invited to board early on most flights.
Is Silver Elite sky priority?
Silver Medallion does not normally include SkyPriority benefits. Some airports may not have Silver Medallion check-in queue, and at those airports, if you are a Silver Medallion, you can use the SkyPriority lane.
Does Delta silver get free bags?
Silver Medallion Members who hold an eligible Delta SkyMiles American Express Card will receive a second bag free (up to two free bags at 70 lbs. or 32kg each) for travel within the U.S. and Canada. Baggage size must not exceed a length + width + height for a total of 62 linear inches (157 cm).
Does Delta Silver Get Sky priority boarding?
Silver Medallion Members and SkyTeam Elite customers can begin boarding after that using the Sky Priority boarding lane when traveling in Main Cabin (Main1). Silver Medallion Members will not have a dedicated Priority Boarding zone on Delta flights departing AMS and CDG due to Air France-KLM boarding policies.
Does Delta give free upgrades?
Complimentary upgrades. Delta makes all tiers of Medallion members eligible for unlimited complimentary upgrades to first-class and Delta Comfort+ seating on a wide array of routes.
