Among the updates, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will officially reopen on June 6th, 2021! The official reopening dates for Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort have been updated too.
Is the geyser at Wilderness Lodge working?
Some tree stumps are visible on the far end of the geyser. The area is a lot less shady with so many trees and foliage removed. The geyser is still not operating, but likely will be when the resort reopens fully on June 6. How do you feel about the tree removal around Fire Rock Geyser?

Can you walk from Polynesian to Wilderness Lodge?
Unfortunately the answer to this is no. While the Wilderness Lodge and the Polynesian are less than a mile away from each other, there’s not really any way to walk from one to the other. There are no sidewalks and you’d have to cross and walk along a quite busy road with strange slight lines.
Can you walk from Fort Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge?
You will be happy to know that both the Fort Wilderness Resort and the Wilderness Lodge Resort are connected by both water taxi boats as well as a walking path. The walk is about a mile but well worth taking.
Why is there no monorail at Wilderness Lodge?
Besides the cost, which is prohibitive, it makes no sense geographically to add a monorail station at the WL when the tracks would have to go all around Bay Lake to get it back on line with the TTC line.

Can you walk from Wilderness Lodge to monorail?
Walking to the Transportation and Ticket Center from Boulder Ridge Vllas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is not possible. If you wanted to catch the monorail, I think that the best way to do this would be to head to the Magic Kingdom and from there you can hop on the monorail.
