Go for Digitakt if this is your first sampler or sequencer, and you need something that will get you off the ground quickly. Choose it over other options for its enhanced audio editing features. Go for Octatrack if you need expandable storage, beat slice mode, and the ability to use the Octatrack as a mixer.
Does Octatrack have overbridge?
It has been stated a few times that over bridge will NOT be available with octatrack. Would be nice but it seems a no go… Maybe a mkII someday? One option to consider for multi tracking is that most performance parameters from the OT can be recorded in real time as MIDI CC to a DAW and played back to the Octatrack.

cross fader + scenes you can completely build up and morph your track. workflow is incredible once you get it. huge amount of possibility with the effects. its not so much that ableton doesn’t do something that OT does its that the workflow on Ot, the limitations, the ease of access to tools.

yes there will be. it has no buttons, dials or faders as it is completely voice controlled. no song mode and it doesn’t work with overbridge but it doesn’t need to because it can communicate telepathically and transfer files to and from other gear via osmosis.
