Why is Yasuo The Unforgiven?
Yasuo was charged with guarding an Ionian Elder, but, foolishly believing his blade alone could make the difference, he left his post to join the fray. By the time he returned, the Elder had been slain. Disgraced, Yasuo willingly turned himself in, prepared to pay for his failure with his life.

“Initially I wanted Yone to be sort of like an ‘echo fighter’ to Yasuo. We wanted to lower Yasuo’s pick rate, which sounds really weird! But it’s actually healthy for League,” says champion designer Jonathan “EndlessPillows” Fuller.
Is Yasuo based off of Musashi?
Skins. He references and resembles Miyamoto Musashi and/or Haoumaru from Samurai Shodown via his iconic ponytail design shared with these individuals, where in Musashi’s case, it is in reference to the common visual design he is depicted with in fictional media. Haoumaru himself is based on Miyamoto Musashi as well.

Yone can be quite weak early game because he’s a melee champion. Not having access to a reliable engage or disengage tool, leaves him vulnerable to engages. The champion also has a variety of combos that has to be executed perfectly.
