Is the i360 safe?
What health and safety measures have been taken to ensure the protection of staff working on the i360 and members of the public? The i360 regard passenger safety as paramount. The attraction itself is regulated by the Health and Safety Executive who will also issue safety certificates on an annual basis.

How does the i360 work?
Because the i360 is a very flexible, circular structure, the wind splits around the tower and whirls around it creating a vortex. These break off at different times (it is called vortex shedding) and this makes the tower move in a different direction to the wind, causing vibration.
