How do I submit my NRMP rank list?

Can you certify your rank list NRMP?

Program coordinators can create and edit rank order lists, but they cannot certify them.
When should I certify my rank-order list?
Once you have added programs to your Rank Order List (ROL), you must Certify your list. Your most updated list must be Certified by 9 p.m. (Eastern time) March 2nd, 2022, to be included in The Match®. This is the Rank Order List Deadline. After this, if you forgot to certify, you will be withdrawn from The Match.
Can residency programs see where you applied?
If you applied to ERAS in years past, the only way programs will know this is if you applied to their program directly and they happen to recognize your name and application. If you interviewed at a certain program, it is of course far more likely that they will understand that you are a residency reapplicant.
Do programs know where you rank?
The programs don’t officially know where you ranked them but they can tell if they weren’t your first choice. If a program ranks you to match and you don’t go there, they obviously were not your first choice.
Do residency programs rank all interviewees?
Similarly, Residency programs rank Badass and all their other interviewees from 1 – whatever (depending on how many students the program interviewed that year). The NRMP algorithm then sifts through the ROLs of all applicants and programs of that specialty, trying to place applicants into their highest choice.
How many interviews for residency is good?
The probability of matching is related to the number of contiguous ranks. For allopathic and osteopathic senior medical students, the probability of matching is 80% at around 6–7 contiguous ranks and becomes > 95% at around 11–12. Therefore, the typical applicant should aim for 11–12 interviews.
Can you rank programs you didnt interview at?
Should I rank programs where I didn’t interview? No. Programs that did not interview you will not rank you, so there is no point in ranking these programs.
Can I tell a program I am ranking them first?
Telling a program that you are ranking them first may not have any impact on how you are ranked, or it can have a significant positive impact. A program’s knowing that you really want to train with them may influence them to move you up on their rank list.
