What do I need to hook up a train horn?

How do you fix a weak air horn?
Remove the hoses from the horn by pulling them off the bib if the compressor is working but you are receiving no sound. Spray penetrating oil into the horn’s air inlet to blow out dirt and debris. Reattach the hose and try the horn again.
What are the pins on a 5 pin relay?
5 Pin Relay 5 pin relays provide 2 pins (85 & 86) to control the coil and 3 pins (30, 87 & 87A) which switch power between two circuits. They have both normally open and normally closed connection pins. When the coil is activated, power will be switched from the normally closed pin to the normally open pin.

After installing the horns on the vehicle, connect the 1/4 in. Poly tubing from the Solenoid to the tank. A quick connect 1/4 in. adapter was included in the hardware which replaces the existing 1/2 in. connector on the solenoid.

How do I activate the horn on my vehicle?
Most Customers choose to activate their horn using the vehicle’s stock horn button. A second toggle or push button switch will be required if you prefer a separate button to activate the horn which is not included in the kit.
