Can you walk the Freedom Trail in Boston for free?
The Freedom Trail is marked by red bricks set in the public sidewalks and streets of the old part of downtown Boston. Anyone can walk the brick path without cost.
Where do you park to walk the Freedom Trail in Boston?
If you are staying in a suburb of Boston, we recommend parking at a commuter rail stop and taking the train into North Station, Back Bay Station, or South Station. From there take the subway to points along the Trail.
Can you do the Freedom Trail backwards?
Take the trail in the opposite direction from the rest of the visitors! Take the ferry from Aquarium across the harbour to the USS Constitution and visit the museums and the ship. Then visit Bunker Hill and climb the monument while you are still fresh.
