Are RaceChip reliable?
Registered. Racechip are fine, they are well known for other marques, as with boxes like Bluespark and JB+ etc. All they do is increase turbo boost slightly within defined parameters for that car. My mate has a racechip box on his Audi RS7 and it’s a really impressive gain in boost.

If you are stock bootmod3 stage 1 is faster than Jb4 Map 1. The car is much much happier on bootmod3. Bootmod3 is also much smoother vs jb4 for daily driving and traffic. If you are staying stock and not going past stage 1 I would at least recommend a charge pipe upgrade.

the biggest difference in my opinion is their maps. Bootmod3 are the tuners and the programmers. it’s all made in-house by the same team. MHD are only programmers, they buy maps from the third-party tuners and offer them as their off-the-shelf maps.
