Rock Pegs are the best tent pegs for hard ground. Make sure you pick up a metal hammer and the rock pegs with the metal T-bar are a bit more robust than the plastic topped ones. Do Rock pegs work on hardstanding pitches?
Case in point, our next trip, Hawes, CC Hardstanding, we can only ever get plastic pegs to work efficiently, rock pegs are useless there, conversely, I have been on grass pitches, with stony ground below, where rock pegs are the order of the day.
