Is Geisel open overnight?
10 – Geisel The second floor of Geisel Library is always open, welcoming you with open arms, inviting you to pull up a chair and cram all night long. It can get fairly crowded during finals week, but on a normal night it’s easy to find a table for you and your friends to share as you burn the midnight oil.

1995. In recognition of a substantial gift from Audrey Geisel, the University Library was renamed Geisel Library in honor of Audrey and her late husband Theodor Seuss Geisel (“Dr. Seuss”) for their commitment to promoting literacy and education.
Where is Dr. Seuss buried?
Cremated – Dr. Seuss was cremated and his ashes were scattered. There is a memorial garden replete with statues of his famous characters in his native Springfield, MA.
