How does UCR Commencement work?
Commencement is the public ceremony that celebrates the completion of a UCR degree. It is held annually in June, following the end of the Spring quarter. Graduates from the preceding Fall and Winter terms are eligible to participate, as are graduation candidates from the spring term.
How many graduation tickets do you get UCR?
Ten (10) tickets will be provided per graduate for the Graduate Division Hooding ceremony so please plan accordingly. UCR Commencement tickets are the property of the University and are issued to participating graduates at no charge. The sale, purchase, or duplication of Commencement tickets is strictly prohibited.
What do you need to graduate UCR?
You must have a minimum of 180 units, including a minimum of 36 upper division units in your major for the B.A. degree. The B.S. degree requires a minimum of 40 upper division units.
When is UCR’s 65th commencement?

Who is required to submit a graduation application?
All students applying for graduation including undergraduate, graduate, and medical students are required to submit a graduation application through R’Web.
How do I participate in the commencement E-program?
Intent to Participate Deadline to select Name to Be Listed in the commemorative Commencement e-program and your Name to Be Read for your personalized graduate slide and in-person name reading. (Updated) Intent to Participate Deadline to submit your completed form. The form will close at 11:59 p.m.
When do I need to submit my graduation transcripts to undergraduate admissions?
If you completed transfer work required for graduation, you must submit transcripts reflecting this work to Undergraduate Admissions by these deadlines: If you are graduating in absentia (you completed all your degree work, but did not apply for graduation during your graduating quarter), you do not need to apply for readmission.
