How do you get accepted into Shad?

Applicants are assessed on several factors highlighting their unique talents and contributions. Factors such as academic excellence, extracurricular involvement (i.e. volunteerism, part-time work, family care responsibilities), creativity, innovation and commitment to making the world a better place.

How long is the Shad program?

Shad is a month-long program for grade 10 & 11s. Pan-Canadian classrooms with university level STEAM and entrepreneurship content and access to mentors.
