How good is the Astonishing X-Men?
Rating: Must Have Astonishing X-Men has faults. There’s no arguing that the book suffers from a concept-to-execution problem, but despite those issues, this collection is brilliant. Joss Whedon perfectly portrays the mutants, and has managed to create two of the most original arcs I have ever seen.

6 Holocaust Killed Her In The Age Of Apocalypse Holocaust, Apocalypse’s son, who was then known as Nemesis, was able to kill Scarlet Witch. Holocaust would eventually make his way to the regular Marvel Universe, but he and Scarlet Witch have never fought. Unlike many, he has a flawless record against Scarlet Witch.
Who can beat Onslaught?
Captain America, Iron Man, the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Hulk, and Doctor Doom were able to contain the psionic energies so that the X-Men, who had previously almost been wiped out by their former mentor, were able to finally destroy Onslaught.
Why didn’t all mutants lose their powers?
Almost all mutants from alternate realities residing in the Earth-616 reality retained their powers (i.e. Bishop, Dark Beast, Rachel Grey, Sugar Man, etc.), but this was just a coincidence, since Jon Spectre lost his powers. There also appears to be some confusion about M-Day’s effects on the Multiverse.
Can Strange beat Wanda?
Wanda had a problem keeping Captain Marvel in check. It’s doubtful that she could handle Black Bolt’s mouth. Wanda was more powerful than anyone during Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. That being said, no one is unbeatable.
Is Quicksilver faster than the flash?
While hypersonic speeds are nothing to sneeze at, the Flash’s speed from the Speed Force absolutely trumps Quicksilver’s… by a lot. Amazingly, The Flash is way faster than anything Quicksilver has ever displayed in the comics thus far.
