How long has MooGoo been around for?
“It’s gotten so busy that three staff in London are getting their parents in to help pack the stock, they are so flat out.” Mr Jones started MooGoo back in 2005 when he was searching for a natural cream to help his mother with her psoriasis.

MooGoo started out in CEO and founder, Craig Jones’ kitchen when he was searching for something to help his mother’s psoriasis. The only cream that had worked for her was a cream used on dairy cows. He created his own version, the ‘Udder Cream’ using natural products and it cleared up his mother’s skin condition.

Why is MooGoo called MooGoo?
Since his mum didn’t particularly like being lathered in a thick cream made for cows, he took on the task of reformulating it and made up a lighter, non-greasy version. The word “udder” was a bit crass for an old-fashioned “lady” so they referred to it as “MooGoo” (goo for the cows) and the name stuck.
What is MooGoo made from?
We source that Milk Protein from dairy co-operatives that are non-GMO, but we don’t have our own cows. The only non-vegan ingredients we use is some of our products are Milk Protein, Honey and Beeswax.
Is MooGoo made from milk?
Almost all of our products do not contain milk, except for our Cleansing Bars. We do add Milk Protein to some of our moisturising creams as it happens to be very good for maintaining skin elasticity and for protecting the hair shaft in our Hair Care products.

This includes ingredients like Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Glycols, Silicones, Formaldehyde Donors (a class of preservatives), Paraffin Oil, SLS, SLES and many more ingredients you’d avoid if you were making products for your own family.
Does MooGoo contain lanolin?
Rather than use Lanolin, MooGoo has used a number of edible and soothing oils such as Grape Seed and Sunflower Oil, and combined them with calming and conditioning ingredients.
