Can I use an old Neat scanner?
If you already using a retired version of Neat, then you can continue using the product as is. Retired versions of Neat do not require a subscription fee for use. Please keep in mind that the retired desktop software is not supported and the installation link for these versions are no longer available.

Click on the Spotlight icon (the magnifying glass at the top right of your screen) type Image Capture and hit Enter to launch. Once Image Capture launches, select the Neat scanner from Devices on the left side of the window. You can click Show Details to view and change scanner options.

As of July 2018 all Neat scanners are out of warranty. In 2017, we announced that we will no longer be manufacturing or selling Neat scanners. Neat is now focused on providing powerful tools for small businesses to help with bookkeeping and accounting through our Cloud software solutions.
How do I scan from a Neat scanner to my computer?
Click the Scan button. A Neat Scan window will open. Click the small down arrow next to Save To Neat and select Save to Computer.
How do I update my Neat desk scanner?
Start by pressing the gear icon in the bottom left of the NeatConnect touchscreen in order to access Settings. Swipe the touchscreen upwards until you reach Software Update at the bottom of the Settings list. Press “Software Update” on the touchscreen. The NeatConnect will automatically search for available updates.
