What is FollowMyHealth?
FollowMyHealth is an online tool that gives you anywhere, anytime access to your personal health records. This allows you to take a proactive role in managing your care. Many healthcare providers and physicians use FollowMyHealth as their main engagement platform.
How do I get FollowMyHealth?
Step 1: Go to https://www.followmyhealth.com (link will open in a new tab or window). Step 2: Click the “I need to sign up” button (circled in red in the image below). Step 3: Fill in the appropriate information seen in the next image below. Then select “Confirm and Continue” at the bottom of the page.
Does FollowMyHealth have a website?
Yes. FollowMyHealth® Patient Portal is a secure internet site which is protected through advanced encryption technology. Access to your account is secured through your own personalized user name and password, known only to you.
Is MAHEC a non profit?

Who has access to my medical records?

Can a doctor’s receptionist look at your medical records?
Yes gp receptionists can access your whole medical records. They should only access elements needed for your care but this could mean any part of your medical history or test results.
Do I have all my medical information with MAHEC in one account?
You only have one medical record with MAHEC so it will contain all your information in one account. 5. Why don’t I see all my medical information? You portal account may not contain all your historical medical information.
Why work with MAHEC?
When you take an active role in your health and work closely with us, you can be sure that you’re getting the care you need. MAHEC Family Health Centers provide patient-centered care at six locations across Buncombe county. We also train family medicine residents at the Hendersonville Family Health Center.
Does MAHEC offer testing by appointment only?
MAHEC’s Acute Care Clinic offers testing by appointment only, Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm and Saturday 8am-noon. You do not need a physician referral and you do not need to be symptomatic to receive a test. Most insurance companies cover the cost and MAHEC has options to help uninsured patients cover the cost.
