Audyssey Sub EQ HT™ makes the integration of dual subwoofers seamless by first compensating for any level and delay differences between the two subwoofers and then applying Audyssey MultEQ® XT32 to both subwoofers together.
Does Audyssey EQ have subs?
Yes, it does. Be aware that it works by applying cuts to peaks and only uses an absolute minimum of boost if necessary. The manual equalizer is not part of Audyssey but provided by the receiver manufacturer as an option.

Yes, it’s worth it imo. It has more precision in correcting the sound at your listening spot. For music listening if your speakers are very good at handling Large eq it would perform like a good stereo system in a good room.
What does LPF for LFE mean?
The AVR subwoofer menu may also have setting called ‘LPF for LFE’. This controls the highest playback frequency for the LFE (. 1) channel before being cut-off (i.e., low-pass filtered) by the AVR.
What is audyssey flat?
Audyssey Flat -The “Flat” setting uses the MultEQ XT filters in the same way as the Audyssey curve, but it does not apply a high frequency roll-off. This setting is appropriate for very small or highly treated rooms in which the listener is seated quite close to the loudspeakers.

Set the volume on the sub so that it reads ~78dB on screen. This should give you an initial sub trim in the -6 range. You can check and adjust this result by running the first mic position only and hitting “Calculate”. Once you get the sub trim where you want it, then run the full 8 point Audyssey calibration.

What level should subwoofer be?
For the subwoofer, we recommend a crossover setting of 80 Hz, although if you wish, you can go up to 100 Hz, but not over. Settings above 100 Hz and will allow your ear to locate the subwoofer (and you don’t want that).
