The Newtown Festival is a yearly event produced by the Newton Neighbourhood Centre to support those who need assistance in the local community. With a range of live musical performances, art exhibitions and a dog show, there are heaps of things to enjoy during this community festival.

Newtown Festival is the principal fundraiser for Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, and has been held in Camperdown Memorial Rest Park on the second Sunday in November for the last 39 years. Since its smaller beginnings the Festival has grown enormously and now attracts 50,000 across the day.
