Will Spektrum servos work with Futaba receiver?
Most servos will work with the majority of receivers, no matter which manufacturer’s servo or receiver you use. Futaba servo leads have a Polarity Fin designed for Futaba receivers. Despite that, you can shave off the Fin and connect the servo to a JR/Spektrum receiver.
Do all servos work with any receiver?
Yep – Just about any servo sold today will work. You can use analog servos on just about any of the receivers, but if using an Sbus decoder, or one of the glider receivers, we do suggest using a digital servo.

What is the difference between Futaba Fasst and FHSS?
FHSS is a less expensive and lower end frequency hoping technology. Its the same as used in FrSky/Hitec/Graupner and other systems. FASST is higher end, multiple frequency hoping and advanced technologies, better range, etc.
What is the difference between a digital and analog RC servo?
Analog and digital servo motors look exactly the same. The difference is in the way they signal and process information. Analog Servos operate based on voltage signals that come through the pulse width modulation (PWM). When an analog servo is at rest, the PWM is essentially off unless you transmit some action.
Are digital and analog servos interchangeable?
What this means is that every cureent major brand of servos on the market are compatible with every current brand of RX on the market and all are interchangeable. You can one each Hitec, Futaba, Airtronic, JR, Tower, Hobbico, etc on the same plane and they can be a mixture of analog and digital.
Can you mix transmitter and receiver?
In fact most times you cannot mix transmitters and receivers, even when they are the same brand as the compander schemes and the digital modulations may turn out to be incompatible.

Protocols. FASSTest is Futaba’s newest 2.4 GHz technology. With FASSTest, radio control systems are capable of three different channel modes- 18CH, 14CH, and 12CH. When using 18CH FASSTest up to 18 channels (linear 16 + ON/OFF 2) can be used and fully supports all telemetry sensor units.
