Is skycouch on Air New Zealand worth it?
For sheer comfort and abundance of space, Air New Zealand’s Skycouch is definitely worth the extra dollars. It’s as good as some business-class beds I have flown in. Maybe even better.
How much does it cost to upgrade to skycouch on Air New Zealand?
– They are available on board the airline’s fleet of Boeing 777 and 787 Dreamliners. – The Skycouch seats don’t come with a fancy amenity kit or an upgraded meal. But you do get to board the plane early. The upgrade cost us US$400 (NZ$598) for our flight from Los Angeles to Auckland.
Is skycouch worth the money?
I actually really loved having the Skycouch for overall comfort, even when we weren’t laying flat for sleeping. Being able to cross your legs or stretch out across all 3 seats while watching movies or reading was such a luxury, and it just felt far less squished than a standard economy seat.
